The 2025 Bolero UCI Gravel World Championships took place in Limburg, Netherlands. The course covered 131 kilometers with 1,060 meters of climbing, and each age group started in separate waves.
For Daria, it wasn’t the toughest gravel race of the season, but it was one that tested focus and consistency. The route itself wasn’t too technical, but the loose gravel on many turns made it tricky to stay in control.

During her pre-race course check, Daria hit a bit of bad luck; a flat tire on the loose gravel. She quickly switched to new tires, the Schwalbe G-One R 45 mm. Even after the setback, she stayed calm. “I wasn’t too nervous before the race,” Daria said.
“I was confident in my physical strength. I’d already tested myself against my rivals at the Sea Otter qualifying race. It was all about staying smart, avoiding silly mistakes, and keeping an eye on the group leaders, who I spotted pretty early.”
She raced smart, stayed patient, and trusted herself. And when she finally saw the finish line, her words said it all.
“And here’s the finish line! The title of the World Gravel Champion in the 35–39 age category is mine.”
Daria raced with her Custom Painting G21 DB Gravel Frameset in Purple Arctic Ice, paired with C35 NxT SL2 wheels. A design that perfectly captured her 'Calm in the Chaos.'

We’ll soon be celebrating riders like Daria through our Black Friday Custom Painting Campaign: Bespoke Friday, where every rider can express their own colors and stories.
Stay tuned.
